Computing Curriculum Intent
Pupils will
- ✓ understand, respect, and apply online safety guidance in and out of school
- ✓ have confidence in coding for a range of practical and innovative purposes
- ✓ be able to apply their coding skills and within their subjects
- ✓ understand the connected nature of devices and the everyday application of devices in the wider world
- ✓ be able to collect and organise data and manipulate it effectively
Computing Curriculum Implementation
- years 1 to 6 will have discrete lesson every week
- EYFS will use a range of technological devices and tools within their learning of other subjects in provision
- all pupils will use computing as appropriate on a regular basis in other curriculum areas
- in each milestone phase there will be a parent’s information meeting in Autumn 1 sharing the most recent internet safety guidance
- opportunities will be given to learn about and experience the use of computing in the wider world
