At Sacred Heart we are a thriving Catholic community of pupils, staff, parents, family members, parishoners and friends of the school.

Celebration of the Word

Children participate in worship every day at Sacred Heart. This includes coming together as a whole school each week to listen to the word of God and pray together.

On other days, we come together as a class or classes in classrooms, outdoors or at church to take time to pray.

Worship at home

Every Wednesday we will share a digital copy of the 'Wednesday Word' through our mail system.

This newsletter-style document will allow you to discuss the Gospel and it's message along with some fun activities for you to complete at home together.

At key times of the year, we also share special prayer bags for families to use to pray together at home - this includes Remembrance in November, Advent before Christmas and Lent before Easter.

Visiting Church

Children visit our Parish, Sacred Heart and St Patrick's, regularly. Each class attends mass in turn on a Friday morning and we thank Fr Larkin and the Parish community for your support to help us attend. Parents, carers and our wider community are always welcome to join us at mass!
