Sacred Heart Catholic Voluntary Academy

'A community rooted in Love, growing in Faith and Truth. Learning with Christ in our hearts.'

We are proud to work with all the Catholic schools across our two local authority areas, particularly as the Trust grows and benefits from the expertise and knowledge that other schools joining in the future will bring.

PREVENT

Prevent is a Government strategy designed to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorist or extremist causes. The strategy covers all types of terrorism and extremism. Since July 2015, all schools (as well as other organisations) have a duty to safeguard children from radicalisation and extremism. This means we have a responsibility to protect children from extremist and violent views in the same way that we protect them from any other harm.
