Normally at this time of year we would hold an Open Morning to invite potential new parents to come and have a look round our school. Obviously we are unable to do that this year due to the current Covid-19 restrictions. Instead we have put together a mini virtual tour and taken lots of photos around school which we hope will give you a little more insight into school life here at Sacred Heart. (We are not professional film-makers but our Year 6 children had lots of fun making their clips so we hope you find it useful!)
The main areas covered are: a welcome to school; the library; Forest School; a look in the classes; The Buttercup Room (our Pastoral care area); School dinners; PE provision and our class behaviour charts.
We have also added other useful links below which we hope will help you when considering a Reception place for your child. Please explore the rest of our website where you will find information on: our curriculum; our Forest School; our Ethos; Safeguarding; Term Dates; Wraparound Care; Topics that all our classes are learning about at the moment and so much more.
We usually have an ‘Open Door’ policy here at Sacred Heart, if you would like a closer look we can arrange for you to make a personal visit by appointment only ensuring we adhere to all the local Covid Guidelines. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please find below the Online Admissions pack from Calderdale which explains how to submit your application and gives full details of how the process works as well as important dates & deadlines.
